Disneyland Fantasia hotsell Plate, 1957, Rare, Decorated with Characters from the Movie "Fantasia".

hotsell This Fantasia Disney Souvenir Plate was sold exclusively in Disneyland for a limited time in 1957. They are said to be quite rare. This is the large one, gold rimmed and decorated with Bacchus in the middle. He is surrounded by dancing baby satyrs blowing horns, and in the outer ring, many more characters from the movie "Fantasia". Purple grapes and vines twine in and out of the figures. It is complete with a string hanger on the back.

The plate measures about 9 1/4" across., The base is 6" in diameter.

It is marked on the back with a yellow ribbon shaped decal that says "In all the world only at Disney land" .....Inspired by original art from Walt Disney's Fantasia.
There is a green decal that says "Disneyland, Walt Disney Productions".
And then there is an oval red and gold foil label that says "made in Japan"

It is in "Like new" condition.
