Urns are approximately 10" height x 5" Approximately 80 cubic inch.
It is a large cylinder like the first example shown in the photos.

Note: The Sedona Moon glaze has a lot of variation from firing to firing, the amount of rust color will vary from a lot to just a sliver at the top edge and the amount of speckling on lid and around the base will vary.

Note: The blue in the Blue and Teal glaze sometimes has a lavender pink hue in the Blue glaze.

Note: The Blue Moon glaze choice shown is for the color only, it is not the shape of the urn that will be made.

Human urn:
Even though these are listed as pet urns I can personalize an urn for a human loved one as well. If you would like to send me a motif you have chosen from another source I will create a beautiful urn for you.

Allow from 2 - 12 weeks for your urn to ship. The lead time takes into account when your order comes in at the time of my production and firing schedule. Most lead times will be less than 12 weeks.

Please be aware that as these are custom made urns there will be variations from those in the photo examples.

The glazes have different variations from firing to firing and will be similar to those in the photos but not exact, like industrial glazes, these will be one of a kind and will be beautiful.

Each urn is individually made by me. I take great care in my work to make sure I offer the best and most beautiful urn I can.

Artistic urn made from the earth to hold the memory of your loved one.

After throwing, sculpting and carving each piece, I then wait for all to dry. After stacking the ware into the kiln, I fire to 2100 degrees, a 14 hour firing. I take all the ware out of the kiln and apply glaze to each piece and fire again to 2400 degrees, another 14 hour firing in a controlled atmosphere that causes the special colors and effect of my glazes. 2400 degrees is the highest temperature in the spectrum of stoneware. Making all of my stoneware vitreous and strong.


One cubic inch = One pound of live weight is the rule of thumb for choosing the size urn for your loved one's remains.

Ash volume can vary and might not calculate to the approximate 1 cubic inch of volume equals 1 pound of pre-cremation weight that is the standard conversion. For Hydro Cremation, there will be 20% more volume of ashes, multiply 1.2 to the pre-cremation weight to select the urn size. I would always suggest ordering one size up if you have any concerns about the urn size.
