Old Puzzle Ball hotsell Pin Cushion

1920's Amish Pin Cushion

One of a number of puzzle balls I have collected over the years, the pink and green colors carry the promise hotsell of Spring.

Made of silk and hard stuffed with cotton batting, it measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. It is entirely hand sewn.

It is in very good condition with minor signs of wear attendant with age and use. There are a few pin holes (see photos). It still retains a good portion of its satin ribbon hanger.

It was purchased at a Lancaster County, PA farm sale years ago and it has been in my basket of pin balls ever since.
