The Women's Relief Corps was a post Civil War auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic, the Union veterans organization. They had branch offices across the country. Their efforts created what is now known as Memorial Day in the US - fascinating piece of history. This delightful garden sign would have stood in front of Michigan chamber 157.
