Vintage Stromberg-Carlson rotary dial telephone in classic beige. The phone is in perfect working condition. It rings, makes and receives calls with good clear sound and there are no chips or cracks in the body of the phone. The dial moves smoothly. Overall excellent condition throughout. Phone jack cord hotsell is included so just plug it in and it's ready to use. A great vintage telephone for personal use, for collectors or for display. Made in the USA.

Alfred Stromberg and Androv Carlson were immigrants from Sweden who worked for the Chicago Bell Telephone Company. They were aware of the deficiencies of the telephone as used by the American Bell company, and believed that they could do better. In 1894 they left Chicago Bell and formed a partnership whose goal was clearly stated - to build a better telephone.
