This iconic mid century piece is made from ceramic and resembles many Holt Howard style pieces from the 50s and 60s. This adorable ceramic jar is approximately 5 inches high and 4.25 inches across. It features a whimsical Santa with a hat for his lid. There is some texture to the glaze on his hat, eyebrows, mustache, and beard. This piece is in good overall condition, however, it does have some chipping inside of the lid, as shown in the photos. There is also some chipping right above the right eyebrow where the lid meets its surface. However, in general, hotsell it is relatively hard to see this chipping when the lid is in place, so it is a great display piece and I'm sure that no one would notice or complain if you had bonbons or candies inside. This is perfect for someone who enjoys “Kitschmas” or mid century holiday pieces. It's also idea for someone who collects vintage Santas or likes candy or sugar bowls. These pieces are highly desirable and really hard to find!
