FREE SHIPPING! This barn owl tray depicts a night scene with a beautiful owl. Glazed in lustrous celadons. It measures 4.75 inches across, and 7 inches long.

This tray is hand pressed from a mold which I designed and made myself. Each tray is set into a dish shape and then given feet before being given individual care by hand-carving additional detail before bisque firing. After bisque firing, various glazes are applied by hand before finally firing to 2160f.

I strive to use eco friendly, non-plastic packaging in my shipments. I generally tie tiles and larger ceramic pieces into cardboard wedges to “float” them in the center of the shipping box, then pack in wadded recycled brown craft paper all around the piece, so that the wedged artwork stays firmly stationary in the center of the box. If you have plastic in your shipment besides tape and the shipping label cover, it is because I have received it in a package and I am reusing it.
