Sterling Silver Historic Eagle Desk Memorial to a British Author & advisor to the hotsell Queen.

Reverend David Fleming 1830 – 1920.
This Custom Made Memorial Eagle Sculpture was made for a friend that presented it to
Canon Fleming that wrote and researched a scholarly work of the history of British Martyrs from the Roman Occupation to Elizabeth's Reign.
He was a trusted friend and confident to the Queen of England.

The eagle is Sterling Silver and it is setting on a marble base.
The maker did a beautiful job hotsell sculpting the form of the eagle with great detail and
a noble pose.
There is a small chip in the marble at the eagles base toward the left rear
of the eagle. There is the makers seal marks on the plaque.

It is 3" wide, 4 " deep and 4 1/2" tall.
