Vintage Heisey Plantation Pineapple Crystal Floating Garden Bowl, Gardenia Bowl, Cake Stand, Bundt Cake, Angel Food Cake, Drizzle hotsell Bowl

This listing is for a pedestal shallow bowl with deep center well known as a Floating Garden Bowl. This is the Plantation “Pineapple” pattern made by A.H. Heisey. This pattern was produce from 1948-1956. One of the later patterns produced before selling to Imperial Glass Co.

Now about this gorgeous item. It's original intent was for a floating floral garden for fresh cut flowers like gardenias.
BUT what a gorgeous cake stand this would make to dazzle your guest! This shallow bowl has a depth of about 2” with center WELL that measure another 2”
If your cake has a drizzle the center well would hold the excess run of from the cake.
Or you could fill a Bundt or Angel Food cakes center with fruits or fresh cut bouquet.

I'm no baker but I think this would make a gorgeous display piece for your fancy product.

The shallow bowl has a irregular scallop edge and 3 pineapples the center well mimics a pineapple. It has a large chunk of hotsell glass pedestal flowing into the base.

Amazing quality of this heavy pressed glass pedestal dish. No chips cracks nicks or repairs. Very slight sign of wear from use which can be seen when held to direct light.
