The matxhbox on the inside of case reads "HALDENS ELECTRIC MADE IN NORWAY" I BELIEVE THAT THIS CASE IS MADE OUT OF SOILD BRASS. OTHER THAN NORMAL WEAR hotsell ON OUTSIDE OF EITHHER ON, BOTH ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.
