1863 North hotsell Carolina Currency - Raleigh - Civil War

Original hand signed “Five Dollars” note issued in 1863 by “The State of North Carolina” in Raleigh, N.C.. The note has the hand inscribed hotsell serial number “3118”. The vignette is a view of the harbor and city of Wilmington, North Carolina with Liberty at left and D.W. Courts at right.

The note will be shipped in a protective sleeve with a dated, hand signed Letter of Authenticity with a photograph of the currency above.
