Rare find! Collectable. First produced in 1957, Cornflower-Blue is an iconic Corningware pattern that showcases a simple yet charming floral design. Through the years, this popular oven-to-table pattern has been produced in a wide variety of piece types & is a terrific way to add hotsell vintage charm. Based on the maker's mark (Blurry Blue Ink Stamp) this piece dates 1960-61. Includes original Pyroceram white lid w/matching blue cornflowers. Printed on the base: Corning*Ware, 10 IN. It is in VG preowned vintage condition~remember it's 62+ years old. I find minimal utensil marks & no chips/cracks. Base wear & sides have scratches commiserate w/age. Lid has a very tiny chip on the underside. See last photo. Crisp & clear cornflowers on both sides & on the lid.
