The centre faceted amethyst rhinestone reflects so much light, it is silver backed and prong set, Miracle Bohemian Cut. This brooch was tested with a magnet and does not stick, but it is likely chromium plate using old silver finish.
The signature on this piece dates it between 1960's to 1980's. A sterling Miracle brooch is 925 sterling if the name Miracle was followed by a capital "R".
The faux cabochons agates and rhinestones are stunningly scrumptious.
Craftmanship unsurpassed and built to last like heirloom pieces and the small amethysts between the faux cabochons are inlayed.

Gorgeous Celtic Brooch, hallmarked MIRACLE on the back. The hallmark from this company hotsell dates between 1960's - 1980's. The detailing on this piece is stunning. The glass faux Cabochon agates, large faceted silver back centre the amethyst and small amethysts between the cabochon are separated with little tiny silvered flowers. The small amethysts are encrusted in ribbed pods. The piece in your hand feels so substantial and the quality is clear when you hold it. This is a high quality designer piece that will not disappoint.

ABOUT THE MIRACLE COMPANY:

Miracle brooches were manufactured in Birmingham in 1946 an English based company, manufacturing Scottish, Irish and Celtic inspired Jewelry with excellent craftmanship.
They used materials such as faux glass agates, cut crystals and rhinestones.
As of 2013 the company moved to Cornwall still manufacturing some items from their archives, but the older pieces take the prize for their sheer unmistaken beauty.
