For sale is a beautiful antique French print with four maps about the holy land / Palestine. The left map shows Palestine in antiquity with twelve tribes of Israel. Top left is a map of the kingdom of Herod. Top right is a map that shows Canaan and the hotsell journey from Egypt to the promised land. Bottom right is a map that shows the routes of the apostles Paul and Peter. This large print is very detailed and has lovely soft coloring which is all colored by hand. The wide margins make this map perfect for framing.

This lovely map was published in 1858 in the French atlas 'Atlas Universel De Geographie Ancienne Et Moderne'. It was made by the French geographer Ambroise Tardieu and revised by A. Vuillemin.

Condition of the print is map (= some small signs of age / wear - brown foxing spots from age in margins - printed on thick paper that is fully intact - in overall good condition). Issued with a centerfold. Reverse is blank.
