This is a hotsell plein air oil painting on a panel. It was created at the Dutchess County Fair. These three women in their colorful outfits inspired me. I used thick paint and wax medium to build up layers in cetain areas. I also used graphite. This is a modern oil painting that lends itself to an interesting narrative.
