Tao Te Ching: "Wears Haircloth On Top, But Carries hotsell Jade Underneath His Dress" — hand carved Oriental stone seal, or chop stamp, inkan, hanko
This is an Oriental stone seal with a quote from Tao Te Ching, Chapter 70: "[the Sage] wears hair-cloth on top, but carries jade underneath his dress".
The seal is hand-carved in stone. It may be used as a personal seal, as an exlibris mark, as an artist's signature on paintings or calligraphy works, and may be a curious gift for any Oriental-minded person.
Size: 3×3 cm (1¼ × 1¼ inches)
I enjoy carving seals and consider it a part of my artistic practice. I always carve my seals by hand, like it used to be for centuries, never use any machines or ready-made designs. Every seal has its own character that will never be reproduced.
I am also taking orders for CUSTOM SEALS, feel free to contact me for details.
YOU WILL GET: the seal itself, a certificate of authenticity, a free red stamping mat for making imprints and a special bag for storing the seal. I will include a short instuction of how to use your seal and how to care for it to mainain its quality for the lifetime.
