These gorgeous handmade obi bags are all one of a kind. They are both fashionable and convenient, vibrant, and colorful - perfect bags for daytime casuals or a night out in town. They are intricately embroidered and one comes with a different color silk rope(obijime)closure, a brass hoop metal handle, and a detachable brass shoulder chain.

All our bags are made from vintage Obi & kimono fabric and are handmade in Japan.

We do our best to source fabric that is in great condition, however, please be aware that sometimes you may see these small remnants of your bag's previous incarnation. Be assured that we only offer bags that we are extremely proud of and would love to use ourselves.

❀Care Instructions
Bag: Obi fabric is traditionally not made to be washed.If you must clean, wipe the clutch gently with a fabric cleaner or blot gently using a towel dipped in soap and water. Consider treating your clutch with a fabric protector in order to protect it from water damage, stains & snags.

Obijime: (Japanese rope): The tassel at the end of the rope may become frayed or disheveled.If this should happen use a liquid seam or fraying sealant, this will seal it and keep the tassel in place. You may also iron the tassel(if there is no plastic hotsell weaved in), this will help loosen and straighten the strings.

Caution:　Take extra care when wearing jewelry as embroidered threads can easily be caught and snagged. Store your bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
