Primitive Hooked Rug Flower Basket On hotsell Antique Oak Cabinet Door

This is a very unique item.
I found this old door at an antique store and knew I had to hook a primitive mat to attach to it.

The door has its original Hardware pull and notches where the hinges used to be. It has a brass hanger on back. It's heavy oak and as found.

The rug was made using wool fabric strips in shades of blue, red hotsell, green, yellow, tan, and brown. Fully finished by whipping with wool yarn.

Attached using small nails.

Together this is a very pleasing folk art combination.

Measures about 14.5 inches across and 12 inches tall.
