Gold plating is a process where a double layer of 24k gold is placed on the surface of a different material. All of our gold plated jewelry has a layer of 24 carat gold on top of a base of sterling silver.
As it is a layer of gold, extra care should be taken to maximize its lifespan.

Simple ways to take care of your gold plated jewelry:
1.Do not spray on perfume or other sprays or applying lotion while wearing your gold plated jewelry. Wear your jewelry after you have sprayed on your favorite perfume so that chemicals on the spray or perfume does not interact with your jewelry's metal.
2. To keep your gold plated jewelry last longer, make sure you don't forget to remove them when you exercise, swim or anything that would require heavy physical work.
3.Avoid any cleaners and antibacterial soaps. Only warm water and neutral soap should do it.
4.Keep them wrapped up in a soft cloth or a jewelry box to avoid scratches.
