An outstanding gift for the discriminating antique guru or foodie - Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. - beautiful berry server by Rogers Hamilton (International Silver) in the "Raphael" pattern -- a highly collectible Victorian silver plate pattern -- in excellent condition!What makes this large serving piece so extraordinary is the beautiful gilt bowl. An exciting addition to any dining setting.

Photos do not do this spoon justice. The gilt wash bowl is in a scallop shell shape / design. The Raphael pattern has scrollwork on the handle and topped by a "fan" consisting of beading and scrollwork. The designer of this beautiful pattern was Frederick E. Pretat and the patent was issued in 1896.

This serving spoon measures @ 8 5/8" in length and 3" at its widest in the bowl and weighs @4 ounces. The hallmark states Rogers Hamilton and Pat. 1896.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with the slightest bit of heel wear (check out second to last photo), no dents, deep scratches or repairs. No monogram. Patina commensurate with its age and use.
