If you collect ephemera, this is a beautiful hotsell container to hold those items. Most likely made of celluloid and lucite. Floral pattern adorns gorgeous yellow base. The sides of the lid have soft, felted material, and the hinges and clasp are intact with a small shifting of the right back hinge. Front clasp fully closes. Please note - I've tried to capture pics of the nicks in the platform, and one abrasion to the yellow base. There are two cracks on the top by the words. Wear is appropriate for age. Measures 8 x 6 x 4 inches. This is a very unique piece.
