hotsell Native American Kewa/ Santa Domingo Pueblo Pitcher
RARE. This is a vintage mid century pottery pitcher made by a member of the Kewa (Santo Domingo) puenlo in New Mexico. This was handbuilt of local red clay and then handpainted with floral designs using beige, black and red clay slips. This would have been marketed to the tourist trade. This was found with a second larger pitcher that is not included in this listing, but shown here together for reference. This auction is for the smaller one, that measures approx 3.25" H x 3.75" W x 3" D. It is unsigned. Would love to make you a deal for both and keep them together! Fresh from a New York estate.
Excellent Condition! No major issues but is slightly distressed commensurate with age.
I can always combine shipping and I like to make deals on multiple orders- send me a message!
