I designed these “SHELFIES” to be displayed on a table or shelf, with a peg in back that creates a mini easel. Image size is 6 x 6, perfect to place on a shelf or tuck in a corner for a bright spot of seaside color

This series explores the elements of SKY and SURF with a limited palette of colors. From the warm tropics, to the cooler northern ocean the colors change from teal and aqua to ultramarine and grey. Changing the horizon line hotsell gives emphasis to either the clouds or water. Using natural linen gives an underpainting tone and texture that complements the use of thick paint.
