A clown with a sacred heart shirt and dubious bucket, a woman with a skeleton arm for her body, a knife thrower with knives for wings... and my oft seen bees & smoking horse. I took multiple liberties with this ink work, happily avoiding "focus" or pre meditated structure. A rare treat for me, as it was done in primarily ink, which allowed me the freedom to make a paint coated background on canvas join with hotsell the feel of a sketch or illustration. True fans of campy horror films... the myths of circuses and carnivals... or really any blatant work of demented intent (Rob Zombie or David Lynch perhaps) may find this a fascinating, humorous buy.
