CONTINENTAL Jewellery Inc. existed from 1943-1997 and was founded in Montreal, Canada by Sam Baker and Sol Mayoff. Continental's clients included large chains like The Bay, hotsell Eatons, Simpsons, Birks and People's, as well as many independent jewellers. Continental's line of rhinestone jewellery is said to have been the main competition for Sherman Jewelry, which was also being produced in Montreal at the time. Continental's high end rhinestone jewellery was very similar to Sherman designs but generally with less stones. Many collectors of Sherman jewellery appreciate the quality and beauty of Continental's vintage rhinestone pieces.

As my jewelry is mostly vintage, it is, by its very nature, fragile and likely to bear signs of age and wear such as scuffs, worn plating, yellow, darkened or missing stones etc...Items are sold "As Is". I will list any flaws that I notice beyond normal wear and feel should be mentioned. Please bear in mind I am no expert but I do try to mention anything I feel I'd want to know about.

Cleaning is left up to buyer.

Kindly carefully review photos for details; they are definitely worth a thousand words! I try to include at least one photo with a coin and ruler/grid to help you visualize the actual size.

In the majority of cases, I am not familiar with the pieces' history and can't guarantee they were never repaired or exposed to smoke and other allergens.

We are a nonsmoking household, but we do have pets.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are your responsibility. Most items arrive within 2 weeks, but occasionally, items can get delayed at Customs.
