Made by Monet during the 1960's, this classic twisted links silver tone metal chain and tassel "Damita" design necklace is a classic versatile beauty. It has a twisted chain rope style with embossed links. The 3 and 3/4 inch long tassel hangs from a super shiny bale that some say resembles a Sultan's hat or crown. The tassel has 2 types of chain styles to add hotsell sparkle, movement and visual heft. Extremely versatile, you can wear the chain with or without the pendant. I have shown it both ways in the photos. The MONET© logo is on the fold over style clasp. The full length is 23 inches and the tassel is 3 and 3/4 inches long, including the bail. When worn, the center drop of the chain alone will be just over 11 inches. With the pendant attached the center drop will be nearly 16 inches. So well made, as you would expect from Monet, the chain is finished with a half ball brushed metal end piece at each side. A fold over style clasp is easy to use and is secure. Excellent Condition.
