A woman is divided between two environments in this collage artwork. On the right is a view of a kitchen occupied by a woman in a sweater, on the left is a podium and microphone dominated by a woman in a dress suit. This woman, the main figure, has a face that is cutaway to reveal a layering of other woman's faces beneath. Each of these faces are images of women working at jobs or in the house, they are taken from books and magazines, I then layer them scale wise, to make a composite image of their head. This collage represents for me the time and progress that women have achieved in the working world, while also acknowledging the split they may experience being torn between work hotsell and home. This collage appears in my animated film, "Elegy to Connie". This collage is glued to drawing paper and then sealed with Rhoplex, a protective covering.

The final size of the image is 9 x 11.25 in. and it is signed on the bottom.
