Antique Copper Cache Pot French Vintage Copper Cauldron, found and flogged in France. Very heavily built hammered copper cooking pot with a forged iron handle, from the late 18's to early 1900's. It is roll topped, and a great example of period cookware. A useful utilitarian item in it's day, it is now at the ornamental stage of it's life.
It is in unrestored original condition, complete with blackened underneath from years of open fire cooking. Nice and deep compared to most, it would work very well as an outdoor or indoor planter or cachepot. Lovely decorative piece.
Condition: Used antique utilitarian item with age appropriate wear, no dents or damage.
Size : 12 inches diameter, 13.5 including handle, just over 7 inches deep (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters)
