Beautiful teapot made on England Vintage Silver Plated Small Tea Pot with Lid.
Could be also used as milk jug or pitcher or for serving coffee.

In perfect vintage condition.

The teapot has a lid with perforated holes on one side when loose tea leaves are being used. Turn it to the opposite side and there is a cutout for pouring when tea bags are inside. The handle is covered with raffia. Bottom is stamped EPNS 1 pint and made in England.
Made in England Teapot with rattan wicker wrapped handle, in pristine condition outside with no dents. Some tarnish inside.

Measures 5.3"/ 13,5 cm diameter with handle and 5.9"/ 15 cm approx height with lid.

The pot is made in the style known as "Guernsey" milk jugs. The traditional design is based on French milk.
Originally the jugs were made by craftsmen who cut segments from flat copper sheet, hammered them to a curved shape and formed lock-seamed edges to build the can.
