On the white pottery, they hotsell have embossed laurel leaves around the rim of the plate.

The picture was printed from Audubon's engravings and hand-colored in England by William Adams's pottery at the beginning of the twentieth century.

The bird on the plate is a long-billed curlew (Numenius americanus).

A beautiful gift for lovers of the birds or as home decor.

Used, but in very good condition.

The registered maker's mark (on the bottom of the plate) was used during 1986-1921.
