A Christmas Carol
We discovered this in our travels, it is a little bit of a mystery since we do not have a player to see exactly what is on this tape. It is labeled "A Christmas Carol" date recorded 11/29/82, 1" Dub.
The outside hard case is addressed to The Disney Channel, and labeled Scotch UCA40.
About the tape.
We Believe this is a standardized format Sony tape and is commonly called ¾-inch or Umatic. It records up to 60 minutes of color television with 250 lines of resolution and has stereo sound. Its technical names are ANSI/SMPTE 21M, and Type E Helical Scan video format.
The Umatic format is format is obsolete, tapes can be unstable. This dual reel Cassette format uses ¾-inch wide video tape. It found common use in professional settings such as business, education, and industry.
