A beautiful white porcelain statue of the Virgin Mary holding hotsell the infant Jesus

There are the merest vestiges of black paint/glaze on her and the infant's head. One or two tiny spots of gold lustre left but otherwise all white.

There are some specks marks caused by dust in the kiln.

Very good condition.

From the late 19th/early 20th century.
