Vintage FRAMED 1953 MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, Original Wood Frame, Large Religious Marriage hotsell Certificate, Wedding Wall Art Foral, Film Photo Prop

This is such a wonderful find: a marriage certificate dating back to 1953, in its hotsell original wood frame.

It is a large framed piece, measuring 15.5-inches X 12.5-inches framed. The certificate itself measures approximately 13.5-inches X 10.5-inches.

The certificate is lovely, on aged yellowed paper with a large floral design in blues and pinks on one side and the marriage information on the other.

The certificate reads:
Mr. Carmen Frank Dainard of Milford and M Frances Marian Hawley of Scoharie were by me united in Holy Matrimony according to the ordinance of God and the laws of Ontario at Milford Parsonage on the 26th day of July in the year of our Lord 1953. Signed Carman G. Beckel. The certificate bears to witness signature and a religious excerpt from Mark 10:8 "So then they are no more twin but one flesh ..."

The certificate is in very good vintage condition - no rips, tears, marks or other flaws - very (beautifully) yellowed with age. The frame is wood painted in a muted gold-tone that has aged well with a lovely patina. There are some nicks and scrapes in the wood, adding to the piece's overall vintage appearance. The back of the framed piece has an old wire for hanging with two old pieces of wood as backing.

A remarkable and old certificate that would be a terrific addition to any antique decor setting. Would also make a great photo or film prop.
