This one of a kind necklace features an artisan-made African brass bead pendant on a hand-beaded black and brass colored spiral stitched cord. This is a very strong cord and is made up of hundreds of seed beads. It is finished off with a gold-toned lobster claw clasp. This hand-beaded cord is 21 1/2 inches in length (if requested, I can add up chain to make it longer) and is very sturdy - each core bead has a minimum of 5 threads running through it. I used regular bead thread to assemble it, then reinforced the core with Fireline bead thread, which is durable and very similar to fishing line.
