This lovely, hand-knotted with silk thread, peacock* pearl necklace sits beautifully on the neck. The large, approximately 10mm, baroque pearls, have great lustre and come flawed, as nature intended. The brushed double square-like clasp contrasts wonderfully with the round hammered sterling silver ball accent.

* Peacock is the word often used to describe “black pearls”. Black pearls are not truly black. They have variations of blues, purples and greens running through them, as found in the mother of pearl interior.
