Batteries not included. Requires AA hotsell Battery each. Supposedly, Donald, Douglas, and Douglas' tender are NOT official Mattel/HIT Toys/Trackmaster items and are considered BOOTLEG items. HOWEVER, despite this, they look and run just like the official models and show almost no differences internally and cosmetically with the official models. The main differences appear to be face hue, face design, stickers' text's font choice and motorboxes. However the motorboxes have been switched out for genuine Mattel Thomas ones to avoid any possible damages or frequent breakdowns. Douglas' left cab side square sticker is damaged but has been touched up with acrylic paint and POSCA Paint Pen.
