enamel cloisonne earrings with mamma cat brooch.

famous designer Laurel Burch, on backsides

Earrings: 1 3/8" in length (including 22K gold filled ear wires) by 7/8" in width
Brooch: 1 1/2" tall by 1 5/8" in width


Here is a little information about the famous now deceased designer Laurel Burch.
She created her first line of handmade jewelry pieces from hand with
few resources during the 1960's. She worked hard and eventually expanded her business,
traveling to china where she learned about the art of enamel cloisonne.
Her cat, animal, botanical, and abstract tribal art themed jewelry and her name 
became a great success reaching peak periods of popularity during the 1980's. 
Since her death in 2007 her older jewelry designs, 
which listed titles signature on the backsides,  are no longer in production. 
Only newer limited unsigned designs are being produced, with different materials. 
Thus, the original old imaginative pieces, signed by Laurel, are the only ones
22k and hotsell sterling plated with gold and silver filled ear wires.
