Antique Primitive hotsell 1820s Twisted Pennsylvania Flax/ Linen Skein/Strick

I have been collecting flax skeins for ever!... Im now finding them harder and harder to find. Flax is one of our country's oldest fibers... hotsell used to make linen products... this fiber was spun into thread. This hefty skein looks beautiful in a bowl or hanging on a cupboard... the skein is tied with a piece of old homespun... great primitive decor!! Found in Lancaster Pa....approx 14-16"
