Men's Custom Vintage 70's Optimus/Robert Jones 3 Piece Blue hotsell Wool Suit Blazer Jacket 46-47 + Vest + Pants 41/29.5/Necktie Tie + Handkerchief!
Vintage 70's men's 3 piece suit
Featuring for sale this very handsome vintage 70's men's 3 piece suit straight from the decade that brought you Pong© and fondue parties! This is a custom tailored dark blue wool matching blazer and pants suit which comes complete with a beautiful light blue faux suede button up vest and its original complimentary colored patterned tie and pocket handkerchief! (Note: Shirt is the only item that is not for sale in our photos- you get this Jacket/Vest/Pants/Tie/Handkerchief) in excellent like-new condition with no rips, no holes, no stains, all buttons present and zipper working, and it's very clean and fresh smelling. Made by Optimus/Robert Jones. Suit is a nice texture and dark blue fabric that is not a fuzzy wool, but closer to a worsted wool ( not smooth but a fine textured weave - see close ups). Oversized front flap pockets, wide lapel, 2 button front and single button sleeves, single vent back jacket with full nylon lining. Light blue vest has a 5 button front with two working flap outer pockets, a dark blue/black nylon back, and cream lining. Vest by "Warren Cook" has a partial elastic/partial nylon strap in the back; elastic here may have lost some stretch. Pants are zip fly, unlined, uncuffed with a nice sharp crease down middle and they have plenty of hem (2-1/4") to let down if necessary. A very elegant Optimus suit, perfect for the swinging bachelor.
SIZE: it should be noted that this is a custom made suit. Jacket and vest are closest to a standard men's 46 (pocket label reads 46) although technically it may be a 47; Pants have a 41" total waist circumference, and a 29-1/4" inseam (crotch to bottom hem). Total Front Side Pant length (top of waist to bottom) is 40-1/2", back length is longer. Please refer to all of our detailed measurements below and base your final decision on these. Also know that our model in some photos is a 5'11" 170lb male who normally wears a 44; it seems to fit with room to spare (with slightly too short pants length for him as well as a pants waist too big so he belted it) the new owner may need to tailor or belt this pants waist.
Lastly, we have another listing for an additional fabulous 3 pc 70's suit custom made for this same owner so please see our other listings (we combine shipping)!
