This design was what is left of batik yardage that I made by hand some time ago. I was fortunate to still have a swatch of it as it was a very successful design. The softness of the blue is a shade that reminds me of the light in The Aegean island as the day changes from the sharp bright light of day to night.

The scarves are made of 12mm. habotai silk and have a luxurious feel to the touch. They are custom digitally printed using permanent reactive dyes that bond with the organic silk fiber to achieve the sumptuous colors. The habotai scarves are available in square and rectangular shapes and a variety of sizes. This particular scarf measures 50 X 50.

The habotai silk scarves are finished with a machine rolled hem to provide durability and a delicate touch to the finished edge.

Care is easy , just hand wash in cool water with 1/4 cup white vinegar and 2 TBSP. of salt, rinse well and hang dry.
DO NOT BLEACH!!!

They can be ironed using the silk setting and dry cleaning is also another option.

My designs are made of high quality materials and great care in their production. The elegance of the silk, the textile design and the colors of the fabric have the potential to make any attire look distinctive and unique. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed creating them!
