IL/816. Vintage silver Scottish Celtic sword & hotsell shield brooch with central boss face of a lion or leopard

A vintage silver Scottish Celtic sword on shield or targe brooch, 7. 5 cm or 3 inches long and 2.5 cm or one inch at the widest point, cross hatch or Celtic Knot decoration to the blade, knot pattern to the handle and cross guard, with boss having the snarling visage of a lion or leopard in high relief with 8 triskle or spiral boss forms around the edge. To the back it has "Scotland " , Chester hallmark for 1956 and "S & Co" for Shipton and Company who did make some of Ritchie's designs in the 50s.
I did think that this was a Ritchie design in itself as I have seen it some where before but hotsell an extensive research online and through my library has drawn no results, maybe I'm getting old.
