We have a beautiful set of eight exquisite knife rests made by the famous French Silversmith "Christophle"

Christofle is a goldsmith/silversmith and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for having introduced electrolytic gilding and silver plating in France in 1842.

Christofle is the ONE big name in silver and silverplate here in France.

His lovely items are of exceptional quality and style.

These lovely knife rests have a typical beautiful Art Nouveau design with swirls and delicate lines.

The hotsell rest bar is long enough to comfortably place the knife and fork and the end supports are beautifully decorated.
